This study programme extends to 1.5 year (90 ECTS) and aims to prepare highly qualified teachers of English language. Students attend courses related to pedagogy, human development, and English methodology and finally engage in teaching practicum. Students will also get acquainted with the tools to assess research on classroom practices. The programme is open to all candidates who have been issued a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpreting, British Studies, and American Studies. Career opportunities include: teaching in primary and secondary level students in different public and private institutions, teaching young students or adults in different language courses and programmes.
Duration of study
Professional Master in English Language Teaching for Secondary Education consists of 1.5 academic years divided into 3 semesters.
Number of Credit (European System of Credit Transfer)
Professional Master in English Language Teaching for Secondary Education consists of 90 ECTS, 1 ECTS = 25 hours.
Title of Diploma
At the end of the program, students are issued a Master Diploma - Professional Master in English Language Teaching for Secondary Education
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of Professional Master in English Language Teaching for Secondary Education can perform the following tasks:
- Teacher of English Language in public and / or private schools,
- Communication moderator in public and / or private companies that practice economic and trade interchanges with English-speaking counterparts
- Translator and / or editor in the media
- Intercultural communicator in Tourism
- Specialist of intercultural relations in governmental organizations and / or various NGOs
- Relation Office Mediator between one’s country and other countries in public and/or private institutions
